Two days ago there was a gun turn-in program in the City of Brotherly Love. It was a no-questions asked thing. There was a lot of publicity. It was the usual "If you have a child in the house, maybe you don't want a gun in the house" stuff. They even went so far as to encourage parents of children to search their rooms while they were gone, look for guns and turn them in.
The Philadelphia PD, for all it's effort, got a total of........wait for it.........here it comes......six firearms. One was a prehistoric .22 pump rifle. One was a possibly non-functional revolver of ancient vintage.
I guess maybe the loving brothers in Philly don't believe in universal personal voluntary disarmament. How about that?
