Judges in secretive FISA court issue UNPRECEDENTED public rebuke to the FBI over serious 'misconduct' in wiretapping Trump ally Carter Page - and demand to know how bureau will rebuild trust

A federal judge blasted the FBI on Tuesday for repeatedly submitting applications to wiretap former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page that were riddled with errors and omissions, and ordered the government to inform the court on how it plans to reform the process.
The scathing order from Rosemary Collyer, the presiding judge over the U.S. Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (FISA), marks the first time the court has responded to the controversy, which became public last week with the release of a report by Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz.
Horowitz's probe scrutinized the FBI's actions in the early stages of its investigation into contacts between Donald Trump's 2016 presidential campaign and Russia, known as Operation Crossfire Hurricane.
The investigation was later handed off to Special Counsel Robert Muller, who was appointed in May 2017.

FISA COURT RIPS FEEBS A NEW ANAL ORIFICE

Acting yesterday the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act court issued a rare (possibly unique) public order to the FBi, telling them to get their shit together and report to the court by January 20th what they have done to get their shit together.
Last year there were 1,081 warrant applications submitted to the FISA court. All but one were approved. Since the opposing lawyer normally never is even aware of such a warrant it does, by it's nature, receive zero opposition scrutiny. Clearly this has resulted in a very callous attitude by the Feebs about such things as truth, justice and the American way.
Perhaps, if we are lucky, and have a down-hill run with a tail wind, this public rebuke may help the cause of civil liberty in this country. Just don't bet next month's rent on it. You may be disappointed.
