There is supposed to maybe be another Democrat Presidential Debate this week. It may not happen, mostly because all seven of the possible participants have announced they will not cross the picket line if the cafeteria workers and the university go out on strike.
They are also chagrined that the current crop of candidates is as white as a loaf of Wonder Bread. The trouble is, ALL of the potential candidates agreed to the rules. The rules have been followed. You have to be at X in a number of recognized polls and have so many discreet, individual donors to your campaign. (Lets Nanny Mike out, he is self-funding.)
They all simply HATE that their party of massive inclusivity looks like a meeting of Skull and Bones. The DNC has told them "tough titty" and they are unwilling to change the rules in mid-stream just to give a more PC outcome. At least so far. I wouldn't care to bet against that changing in the near future.
Wouldn't it be a damn shame to have nothing but a pack of rich old white guys telling the brown and black voters how fucked they are because of rich old white guys?
