Actor Cuba Gooding, Jr. is supposed to turn him in to NYPD on a sexual battery charge. He is alleged to have been stinking drunk in a bar and copped a feel or three from a woman who was not appreciative. Security responded to the situation. There is security footage which Gooding asserts will clear him.
Drunk people do stupid and offensive shit. Often drunken celebrities are bigger offenders than mere mortals because they believe their own press and believe (often correctly) that they do not have to play by the rules. That being said, it is not unknown for people to make false claims against celebrities in order to fish for a quick payoff.
I am confident we will hear more of this in the near future.
