On February 28 an unarmed Chicago short-order cook, Ariel Roman, 33, committed the heinous offense of walking between subway cars on the train, which apparently is a death penalty offense in Illinois. The cops tried to deal with him off the train, while he was going to an escalator to exit the station. He was shot several times, including a few in the back. There is security and body cam footage.
Roman survived the shooting but was very seriously injured.
I wonder what they do in Chicago if you violate social distancing orders? Flamethrower?
