Amid
much noise the Minnesota state legislature convened a special session
to deal with the over-arching societal problem of evil police officers.
They were going to do much good and end the scourge of evil police
officers throughout the state, maybe the country, and maybe even the
entire world (except for Islamic countries, Communist countries and
places nobody gives a shit about anyway).
Total final output of wonderfulness from this very special session? You guessed it. A big stinky pile of nothingness.
But
they CARE. That is, after all, what's important. The ability to
virtue signal with a clear conscience is good for something. It makes
you feel like you are morally superior to the disgusting quasi-humans
who don't care as much as you do. Shit, you are a good person. You
fucking recycle. You buy pesticide-free sustainable produce and
free-range chicken. You drive a fucking Prius. You have Black friends
that you really like. You ARE better than THOSE people. (Or not, you
arrogant snowflake lump of ambulatory pond scum.)
Or am I just being judgmental? Does that make me a bad person? What if I don't give a fuck? Does that make me a bad person?
