A total of 22 lawsuits have just been filed by more than two dozen individuals against people they hope to hold financially responsible in the Velentine's Day shooting at the Stoneman School in Florida 13 months ago.
Those being sued included the Broward County School Board, the Broward County S. O., former school resources officer Scott Peterson (the notorious first non-responder), Andrew Medina (a school security monitor) and Henderson Behavioral Health (where shooter Nikolas Cruz was treated prior to the shooting).
Cruz is still a guest of the people, facing capital murder. The survivors are pissed because the agencies involved said all the nice warm-and-fuzzy things in public, then hired a PR firm in private to work against proposed legislation, allegedly to avoid responsibility.
So far, no comment on the lawsuits.
