RE: YOU'RE FIRED, ASSHOLE

As you probably know President Trump's nominee for the Attorney General is still in the confirmation process so the Acting Attorney General Sally Yates, an Obama left-over, was in charge. She issued a directive yesterday to staff to refuse to defend the Trump executive order regarding immigration in court. So Trump fired her ass.

Now that may or may not be a big deal. She wasn't going to have a job long anyway. There may (or may not) be a significant difference for political appointees if they resign (as expected and is normal) or they get sacked for being an obstructive and incompetent asshole.

At any rate Ms. Yates is likely to find out what, if any, fallout there may be. I suspect it may be small as a great many Trump haters will be happy to throw attagirls and warm-fuzzies in her direction for having the balls to stand up to what they believe is an evil and horrible man. That point of view of course totally ignores the fact that lawyers are whores. They are supposed to be whores. They do a job, take a position, that many believe to be grotesque and disgusting for money.

So, fuck her. Maybe CAIR will find a job for her, as the fifth wife of some Imam somewhere in Buttcrack, New Jersey.
