CRITICISM OF GOLD DIGGER MARKLE AND HER MOTHER LODE HARRY DEEMED RACIST

Piers Morgan says 'it is a disgraceful smear on the welcoming British people' to brand critics of 'shameless and shameful' Meghan Markle as racist

Piers Morgan today denied criticism of the Duchess of Sussex was because she is mixed race, as he became embroiled in Twitter exchanges with various celebrities.

The DailyMail.com US editor-at-large said it was 'ridiculous' for black comedian Gina Yashere to say Meghan faced 'constant racist vitriolic abuse disguised as criticism'.

Morgan, 54, added that that the condemnation instead had 'everything to do with her being a shameless piece of work doing huge damage to our Royal Family'.

The conversation began when Yashere, who was born in London to Nigerian parents, tweeted a response to Morgan's column on MailOnline criticising the royal couple.

She wrote today: 'Please. Every black person knew this was coming. Constant racist vitriolic abuse disguised as criticism. They have the means to get the fuck out, and they did. Now the racists are whining in surprise. GTFOH [Get The Fuck Out of Here].'

But Morgan replied: 'Oh Gina, stop being so ridiculous. The criticism of Meghan Markle has nothing to do with her skin colour and everything to do with her being a shameless piece of work doing huge damage to our Royal Family.'

He added soon after: 'How dare these two self-absorbed whining freeloaders treat the Queen like this? Who the hell do they think they are? Shameless and shameful.'

Morgan also picked up on a tweet by pianist Myleene Klass, who said: 'I'm missing something. Harry and Meghan changed job title, want to work, not 'freeload', earn their own £ and continue with their obligations to Queen, country, charity, plus build a life they choose and this is a problem because? Our taxes don't come into it.'

Morgan replied: 'Let me help: the taxpayer paid millions for their home refurbishment, and pays further millions for their security/travel.

'They wish to keep these perks for doing half their duty (the boring stuff) and living half their time abroad. That ain't happening on my taxpayer watch.'

Morgan also tweeted a picture of Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau - including the picture of him in blackface revealed during the election campaign in September. He said in quotes: 'Meghan flees racist Britain for woke Trudeau-led Canada.'

He also commented on a New York Times article by journalist Afua Hirsch which said the couple had put 'two fingers up at the racism of the British establishment'.

Morgan replied, saying: 'This 'it's all racism' defence of Meghan is so wrong and such a disgraceful smear on the British people who welcomed our first mixed-race royal with huge enthusiasm. Her racial background is not why she's been criticised.'

Northampton Saints rugby player Courtney Lawes, who is mixed race, also responded to the NYT story, saying: 'Is it any wonder nobody takes the word racism seriously anymore? The misuse of this word nowadays is genuinely embarrassing.'

The Good Morning Britain host was also criticised by his long-time rival Lord Sugar, who asked him on Twitter this morning: 'Why don't you come clean, Piers Morgan?

'Tell your followers what you have against Meghan. Fact is she blew you out. You grovelled to take her to your pub once and since then she has not answered your grovelling calls. Had she acknowledged you it would be a different story. QED.'

But Morgan replied: 'a) SHE asked to meet ME for a drink. b) I take people as I find them and Meghan's someone who befriends people when they can help her but ditches them if she finds someone more important. Even you don't do that and you're a revolting human being.'

Morgan also hit out at a Guardian article which quoted a royal correspondent as saying in autumn 2018 that he had a 'very tortured' attitude towards the media.

He responded, saying: 'He's not so 'tortured' when he & Meghan regularly use the press to promote themselves.

'They're just a pair of spoiled brats who only want positive media coverage (of which they've had a LOT) and throw their toys out of the pram if it's negative (usually deserved).'

Writing on MailOnline yesterday, Morgan said: 'What Meghan's forgotten, or simply doesn't understand, is that she and Harry aren't important royals, they're minor players with no chance of ever acceding to the throne.

'The biggest royal star is the Queen – followed by her son and heir Prince Charles and then his eldest son and heir Prince William. They are the constitutional future of the Monarchy, not Meghan and Harry.

'But what genuinely worries me now is that the very future of the Monarchy may be in serious jeopardy if these two renegades have their way and become effectively a pair of rival royals bestriding the globe acting like they're the big dogs, doing what the hell they like and using their royal fame to line their own pockets to the tune of millions like a pair of greedy, grasping hustlers, destroying the royal brand one grubby deal at a time.

'It can't be allowed to happen. Nobody tells the Queen what to do. She's the most powerful, respected person in Britain. And right now, she's facing a direct threat to everything she has worked so hard to maintain.

'Harry and Meghan's astonishingly brazen and selfish antics have left her no choice but to cut them loose and fire them both from the Royal Family. Get rid of these whining, ego-crazed, deluded leeches Ma'am - before it's too late.'

Last night, it emerged the Duchess of Sussex had returned to Canada as the Queen and other senior royals took decisive action and ordered their teams to find a 'workable solution' to Harry and Meghan's future roles.

The couple had only recently arrived in the UK after spending an extended festive break in the Commonwealth country but the duchess is now back with baby son Archie who remained behind, looked after by a nanny and friends of the duchess.

A Buckingham Palace source said the Queen, Prince of Wales and Duke of Cambridge have asked aides to work 'at pace' with governments and the Sussex Household to find a solution to the couple's plans to step back from their frontline roles as members of the monarchy and become financially independent royals.

It is understood Meghan was always due to return to Canada after a brief return trip to the UK. A source said 'she came back to attend some meetings and then went back'.

EDITOR’S NOTE: Northampton Saints rugby player Courtney Lawes, who is mixed race, said: 'Is it any wonder nobody takes the word racism seriously anymore? The misuse of this word nowadays is genuinely embarrassing.' He sure hammered the nail on the head.

Eco-conscious Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's jaunts to and from Canada will see them notch up their fifth transatlantic flight in two months as they spend up to $329,000 and use as much as 230 tons of carbon

Daily Mail
January 10, 2020

Harry, Meghan and Archie first flew the 4,700 miles from London to Vancouver together at the end of November for the start of their six-week Canadian holiday.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex returned to the UK last weekend without their son, leaving him with his nanny and the Duchess' best friend Jessica Mulroney, before dropping the bombshell they were quitting as senior royals on Wednesday.

Hours later Meghan flew back to Canada from Britain - rumored to be on a BA flight from Heathrow to Vancouver.

Harry is expected to be reunited with his wife and son after a Rugby League World Cup 2021 event at Buckingham Palace next Thursday - and when he returns to Britain it will be the Sussexes' fifth transatlantic flight in two months.

Their couple's spokesman today refused to say if they couple had chartered a private jet for their Canadian holiday, which would have cost them upwards of $163,000 per return trip. This cost would be doubled to $329,000 if Harry does the same again next week.

Even if they traveled commercially with British Airways, Air Canada or Virgin Atlantic, their first class tickets would cost at least $26,000 not including fares for their staff and security.

The couple could also have created as much as 230 tons of CO2. The absolute minimum they will have created from five flights is 45 tonnes.
