MERRY CORONAVIRUS

Like millions of other Americans, I disregarded the CDC warning to stay put and went off to celebrate Christmas away from home ..... for a Merry Coronavirus at the hospital

By Howie Katz

By now, most of you must have noted my absence from BGB.  Like millions of other Americans, I disregarded the CDC warning to stay home and went off to celebrate Christmas away from home.

Well, it wasn't exactly like that.  After two hard falls within a 19-hour period on December 22, my son took me to the emergency room at Clear Lake Regional Medical Center.  The ER nurse was very proficient, giving me a thorough examination.

A nursing student from College of the Mainland where I taught criminal justice for years, started to take my temperature when I noticed she was about to stick a rectal thermometer in my mouth.   When I said, "whoa there young lady, do you realize you're about to stick a rectal thermometer in my mouth," shy became hysterical, ran out of the ER bay and yelled,"you can stick it up your ass!"

The regular nurse laughed and told me not to worry, that she always became hysterical whenever someone questioned what she was doing. Anyhow, my temperature was over 101 and a coronavirus test showed that I was suffering from COVID-19.  They put me in an adjacent holding room waiting for a regular hospital room to come available.

After about 4-hours the nursing student shows up and tells me she's taking me to a room.  She rolls me down a long hallway till we get to a dead end.  The hallway to the right reads "Main Tower" and the hallway to the let reads "Pathology."  Guess which way she turned?  That's right, to the left.  After rolling me down this hallway, we come to a set of double doors guarded by a man sleeping behind a desk.  She barged right on by until we found ourselves in a long and cold dark room with about a dozen beds holding bodies covered by white sheets.  "Holy shit!" I yelled, "we're in the morgue!"  The nursing student promptly passed out.  After about 15-minutes, someone heard me yelling and took me to my room.  As for that nursing student, she needs to switch from nursing to cosmetology just as soon as they pick her up off the floor.

Seriously though, I spent seven-days in the hospital including Christmas day.  I got back home Tuesday evening.  I feel terrible because I'm constipated.

NOTE: I've got word fro Bob Walsh and all those who mock the lockdowns and the wearing of masks and social distancing.  Stop mocking those measures!  I've now caught coronavirus, albeit a mild case, and it's no mocking matter.

But that was then and this is now.  Boxing is no longer politically correct!  We are now in the Obama era of peacemaking where we appease our enemies to avoid a fight at any cost.

RECALLING A SPECIAL FRIENDSHIP

Rocky Graziano and I became good friends some 70-years ago

By Howie Katz

Rocky Graziano throws one of his vicious rights in the second round as Charley Fusari does a neat piece of ducking, September 14, 1949.
Rocky Graziano was one of the hardest punchers in boxing history. Rocky had 83 fights.  Of his 67 wins,  52 came by knockouts.

I am not going into how we got to be good friends and I am not going to go into the history of his bad behavior.  The Rocky I knew was a kindhearted and decent man who adored his wife Norma and daughters Audrey and Roxee, and would give anyone in need the shirt off his back.

(Left) Rocky flattened Johnny Greco in the 3rd round on 5-21-51 in Montreal,

(Right) Rocky and me in the champ's basement man cave in 1950.

I was privileged  to visit Rocky and his family at their home many times and to stay with Rocky at his training camps in Ellenville, NY and Chatham, NJ.

The three fights he had with Tony Zale were among the most brutal fights in boxing history. He was KO's in the first one, won the world middleweight championship in the second one, and got KO'd in the third one.

Zale vs Graziano

Rocky defeats Tony Zale on 7-16-47 to win the world middle weight championship.

Tony Zale and Rocky Graziano knockdown

Zale regains title on 6-10-48 with a 3rd round KO

Rocky's rise to fame and fortune began on March 9, 1945 when he stopped a heavily favored Billy Arnold.  All the boxing experts predicted Arnold would become world champion, but after the beating he took from Rocky, he was never the same again.

Rocky' last two fights were with the legendary Sugar Ray Robinson and Chuck Davey.  Robinson came off the floor to knock Rocky out and Davey avoided his punches to win the 10-round bout.

I attended the Davey fight at the Chicago Stadium with a seat on the front row.  Seated to the right of me were about a dozen well-dressed, cigar-smoking men. Suddenly, during one of the preliminary bouts, Chicago cops swooped down on the men and carted them off to jail.  The next day I learned from the papers that the men were part of Al Capone's mob.

Rocky wisely retired after the Davey fight.  Rocky went on to appear in several movies and TV shows.  He played Martha Raye's husband on her TV show. He also raked in a good amount of money by doing commercials for a number of businesses.

Thanks to his wife Norma, Rocky did not blow his accumulated wealth away.  Norma managed his finances by making sure he did not leave their home with a large amount of cash in his pocket.

Norma's father Ray Unger was the host of a restaurant in the Times Square area that served cheese cake to die for.  Just before I went on one of my trips to see my mother in Galveston, I went to the restaurant and asked Ray to get me the cheese cake recipe.  He said "no problem" and proceeded down the stairs to the kitchen.  Suddenly he came rushing up the stairs white as a ghost.  He told me the baker came after him with a meat cleaver when he asked for the recipe.

Rocky died of a heart attack on May 22, 1990 at age 71.  Norma passed away on April 16, 2009 at age 83.

My friend ship with Rocky constituted the best years in my life..  Why was that friend ship special?  How many people get to pal around with a world champion fighter?

A MED TO KICK THE SHIT OUT OF CONSTIPATED OLD FARTS

If you are an old fart and suffer from constipation, Linzess may be the solution to your problem

By Howie Katz

Many of us old farts are full of shit because of constipation.  I suffered with constipation for several years.  Taking laxatives didn't realy solve my problem.  What I needed was something to keep kicking the shit out of me.

Several months ago I got a new primary care physician.  When I complained about my constipation he prescribed Linzess for me and now I am no longer full of shit trying my hardest to expel a turd.

China approves Ironwood Pharma's IBS treatment - PMLiVE

Linzess comes in three strength.  I'm on the 72 mcg capsules, the middle strength.  Oh man, do they work.

I take Linzess every morning and after an hour or so it's time to hit the crapper.  While my shit is soupy, I am no longer constipated.

No more sitting, sitting and sitting on the crapper, straining, straining and straining to maybe painfully dump a big hard turd.

So if you are an old fart full of shit and want the shit kicked out of you, go see your doctor and ask him about Linzess.

WHY JANUARY 5 WILL BE ONE OF THE MOST CRITICAL DAYS IN AMERICAN HISTORY

Three weeks from now the voters of Georgia will determine whether or not the US will be inundated by a radical-left tsunami

By Howie Katz

Big Jolly Times

December 16, 2020

The election is over and Joe Biden has won.  Only Trump and his devoted ass kissers keep clinging onto conspiracy theories of massive voter fraud and candidate-flipping of Dominion voting machines.

I'm sure that good and well meaning Americans like Bill Daniels and Dan Man will keep insisting the election was stolen from Trump, and they will continue to do so from the grave.

But Attorney General Bill Barr, who has resigned because he got fed up with Trump's delusions, has stated the DOJ found no evidence of massive voter fraud that would have changed the outcome of the election.  Geraldo Rivera, a longtime supporter and friend of Trump, has advised the President to concede and make a graceful exit.

And on Tuesday, Mitch McConnell declared "As of this morning our country has officially a president-elect and a vice president-elect ... The Electoral College has spoken. So today I want to congratulate President-elect Joe Biden."

While the election is officially over, there is still much work for Republicans to do. January 5 will be one of the most critical days in American history.  On that day the voters of Georgia will determine whether or not the US will be inundated by a radical-left tsunami.

The runoff election between Georgia's two Republican senators and their Democratic opponents will determine who controls the US Senate. Republicans need to win at least one seat to maintain their majority.  The Democrats need to win both seats to split the senate 50-50, in which case VP Kamala Harris will cast the deciding vote when there is a tie vote on any issue.

Early voting started Monday with a very heavy turnout, especially by black voters.

Incumbent Senator Kelly Loeffler is opposed by Rev. Raphael Warnock, the senior pastor of  Atlanta's Ebenezer Baptist Church, the church where Martin Luther King used to preach.  According to Loeffler's campaign,  Warnock has used his sermons "to oppose the 2nd Amendment, attack the police, condemn Israel, disparage the military, and embrace communists and Marxists alike."

Incumbent Senator David Perdue is opposed by Jon Ossoff, an investigative journalist.  Ossoff opposes prison sentencing for nonviolent drug offenders and has accused President Trump of taking a "divisive approach to government."

Right now the election outcome does not look too good.  The Democrats are far outspending the Republicans.  Hundreds of Democrats have flocked to Georgia from other states, many from California, for door-to-door campaigning in behalf of Warnock and Ossoff.  There appears to be a very heavy black voter turnout because Warnock is in the race.  And worst of all, several Georgia politicians, as well as crackpot attorneys Lin Wood and Sidney Powell, have urged Republicans to boycott the runoff election because Loeffler and Perdue did not back Trump's conspiracy theories about massive voter fraud.

And just today, McConnell said Loeffler and Perdue are getting "hammered" because Congress has failed to pass a new COVID-19 relief package.

Republicans must pray to God for a win by Loeffler and Perdue.  If God answers their prayers, Mitch McConnell will become the most powerful man in America because he will be able to block the radical-left agenda of Biden-Harris and the House Democrats.

God help us if the Republicans lose control of the Senate.

OUCH, THAT HURTS!

Debra Messing  hopes Trump will be the "most popular boyfriend in prison'

By Howie Katz

Debra Messing, the star of 'Will & Grace;, sure knows how to hurt someone.

Last week Messing tweeted, "I hope you live a long life in prison where you become the most popular boyfriend to all the inmates."

Ouch that hurts!

But not to worry. Trump is 74-years old.  A man that old is not attractive to sex-starved prison inmates.  So if Trump does go to prison for the case Manhattan DA Cyrus Vance is building, he won't be getting a red ass and he won't have to acquire a taste for semen.

TEXAS GOP NEEDS A LEADER WHO DOES NOT COME UP WITH A WACKO PROPOSAL

Allen West, chairman of the Republican Party of Texas, proposes that Texas and like-minded states secede from the  Union

By Howie Katz

Big Jolly Times

December 14, 2020

Allen West, chairman of the Republican Party of Texas, reacted to the Supreme Court's decision to toss out Ken Paxton's lawsuit to overturn the election outcomes in the states of Pennsylvania, Georgia, Wisconsin, and Michigan by proposing that Texas and like-minded states secede from the Union.

Logo of the Republican Party of Texas

Austin, TX, Release: December 11, 2020. For Immediate Release

Below is Chairman Allen West’s statement regarding the decision by the Supreme Court to dismiss Texas’ constitutionally legitimate and critical lawsuit.

“The Supreme Court, in tossing the Texas lawsuit that was joined by seventeen states and 106 US congressman, has decreed that a state can take unconstitutional actions and violate its own election law. Resulting in damaging effects on other states that abide by the law, while the guilty state suffers no consequences. This decision establishes a precedent that says states can violate the US constitution and not be held accountable. This decision will have far-reaching ramifications for the future of our constitutional republic. Perhaps law-abiding states should bond together and form a Union of states that will abide by the constitution.”

The Texas GOP will always stand for the Constitution and for the rule of law even while others don’t.

###

What a wacko proposal.  Add to that West's unintelligible interpretation of the US Constitution.

Although the constitution does not mention anything about states seceding, the 1868 decision by the Supreme Court in Texas v. White made it quite clear that Texas is precluded from seceding.

The Supreme Court ruled in Texas v. White that Texas could not secede from the Union.  Chief Justice Salmon P. Chase wrote: "When Texas became one of the United States, she entered into an indissoluble relation. The union between Texas and the other States was as complete, as perpetual and as indissoluble as the union between the original States. There was no place for reconsideration or revocation, except through revolution or through consent of the States."

In other words, Texas would have to revolt against the US or have the consent of the other states in order to secede.  A revolution would be put down quickly by the armed forces of the US, and the states are not about to let Texas secede.

But let's say that Texas could secede.  If it did so, it would exist as a prosperous nation with its diversified agronomy, a growing tech industry and a petro-chemical industry that neither Joe Biden nor Kamala Harris could dismantle.  However, as an independent nation, Texas would have little standing diplomatically and militarily.  And the same is true for a confederation of Texas and like-minded states, but such a confederation would diminish the standing of the US among the world's nations.

AOC refers to such a confederation as "A confederacy of dunces."  While I have strongly disagreed with everything the socialist congresswoman has said, in this instance I think AOC has hit the nail squarely on its head.

Texas escaped a blue wave in the 2020 presidential election.  Fortunately the hatred for Trump was not enough to turn Texas into a Democratic stronghold.  But unless the Texas GOP gets its act together we might not be as fortunate in 2024.

The Texas GOP needs a leader who does not come up with a wacko proposal like seceding from the Union.  I strongly suspect that the vast majority of Texans are opposed to Allen West's proposal.

The Texas Republican Party needs to advocate proposals that will appeal to the majority of Texans.  Allen West does not appear to be the leader who will do that.

AN EMBARRASSING EVENT

One day after I had made a call in Palm Springs, I pulled my patrol car over in front of an exclusive country club to write up the report on my investigation.  That was a time long before computers in police cars.

I kept my briefcase which contained all of the different kinds of department forms in the back of the patrol car.  I climbed in the back and before I could do anything, a sudden strong gust of desert wind blew the door shut.  Oh shit, I was locked in!

What to do?  At first I tried several times to squeeze my arm through the space between the side of the car and the installed cage in an attempt to get the radio mike.  After several futile attempts, I gave up.  There was a lot of traffic going by, so I started yelling "help" over and over again, but no one stopped.

Then I started blowing my police whistle.  Finally, after a while, a cab driver stopped.  He walked up to the side of my car.  I told him that I had accidentally got locked in the back of the car and asked him to please open the door.  He hesitated to do so.  Then I told him: "Look, I'm a deputy.  See, I'm in uniform and I've got my gun. right here."  Then he opened the door.

Most of my fellow officers, including even my sergeant, told me that I should have kicked out the window, then picked up a drunk and claim he kicked out the window.

One of the Riverside newspaper reporters was a good friend of mine and drew the above cartoon.   The sheriff asked him not to publish it, so he gave it to me.  I love it.

You think that was embarrassing? Ha, some time later a Riverside police officer got a call about two Great Danes running loose.  He managed to get one of them into the back of the police car.  He got the other one by the collar, but had to get in back to keep the other one from getting out.  He pulled the second dog in and, without thinking, pulled the door shut so the dog wouldn't get out.  He was locked up with the two huge dogs until another police car happened by.

THE DEPOSED KING RANTING

AG Bill Barr, once one of Trump's staunchest supporters, now at odds with the President

By Howie Katz

Attorney General Bill Barr has been one of President Trump's staunchest supporters ... that is until December 1 when he told the Associated Press that the DOJ had no evidence of widespread fraud in the election.  That pissed Trump off.

Last week it was revealed that in 2018 the DOJ launched a tax investigation into Hunter Biden.  The investigation is ongoing.

Trump was furious with Barr for keeping news of the Hunter investigation secret until after the election.  In a Saturday Twitter storm, Trump lashed out at Barr, demanding to know why he didn't reveal the investigation into Joe Biden's son before the election and retweeting a post calling for the AG to be fired.

Barr brushed of Trump's tweets as a "deposed king ranting."

HATRED FOR TRUMP HAS DENIED HIM THE NOBEL PEACE PRIZE HE SO RIGHTLY DESERVES

Since its founding in 1948, the state of Israel has been denied recognition by all Muslim countries except for Egypt and Jordan ... that is until Trump became president

By Howie Katz

Big Jolly Times

December 11, 2020

The Nobel Peace Prize has been one of the most sought after honors in the world.  This year the prize was awarded to the World Food Programme, a worthy organization.  But the person who should have received the prize was snubbed.

The 2009 Nobel Peace Prize was awarded to Barack Obama after he had been POTUS only a few month for his "extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between people"  What a supreme crock of shit!  The only thing he did to get the prize was to make a speech in Egypt wherein he made nice to the Muslim world.  Through out his eight-year presidency, Obama never achieved a peace agreement with or between any countries.

Since its founding in 1948, the state of Israel has been denied recognition by all Muslim countries except for Egypt and Jordan.  From the day it was founded, Israel has had to fight several wars for its survival after being attacked by Arab countries.

In 2018, Trump recognized Jerusalem as the undivided eternal capitol of the Jewish People and moved the US embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.  He was widely condemned for the move and accused of destroying any possibility of peace between Israel and the Palestinians.  His detractors predicted that the recognition of Jerusalem and the embassy move would bring on reprisals from the Muslim world.  Nothing like that happened.

To the contrary, Trump and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo have been able to achieve peace agreements between Israel and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Bahrein, Sudan and now Morocco, a feat thought to be impossible.

First official UAE delegation to visit Israel | JNS | clevelandjewishnews.com
Trump the Peacemaker

The peace agreement between Israel and the UAE and Bahrein  was reached well before the winner of the 2020 Nobel Peace Prize was selected.  So, why was  President Trump snubbed?

If anyone ever deserved the Nobel Peace Prize, it was President Trump!  But hatred of Trump in the US and some European countries led the prize committee to snub our president.

When Obama received the prize for giving a speech in Egypt, the Nobel Peace Prize was turned into a joke.  The snubbing of Trump is further evidence that the prize continues to be nothing more than a shameful joke.

TIME FOR THE WHITE HOUSE TRUMP FAMILY TO DECIDE WHERE THEY WILL RESIDE IN 2021

The US Supreme Court threw out the Texas AG's lawsuit that was joined by 17 state AGs and 126 Republican House members ..... and the three justices Trump appointed voted against him

By Howie Katz

On Friday, by a 7-2 vote, the US Supreme Court threw out the Texas AG's lawsuit that was joined by 17 state AGs and 126 Republican House members.  Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh and Amy Coney Barrett, the three justices appointed by Trump, voted against him.

Justices Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito wanted to hear the case but said they would have refused to overturn the election outcome.  That in effect made it a 9-0 vote..

The seven justices ruled that "Texas has not demonstrated a judicially cognizable interest in the manner in which another State conducts its elections."

Texas Senator Ted Cruz never got the chance to argue this case before the court as Trump had called on him to do.

With this ruling it's time for the White House Trump family to decide where they will reside in 2021.

All that remains is for the Electoral College on Monday to select Joe Biden as the winner.  Then on January 20, it's adios Trump.

Since presidential pardons only apply to federal crimes, Trump would be wise to move to a country that does not have an extradition treaty with the US.  Then Manhattan DA Cyrus Vance would be unable toss the ex-president's unhappy ass in jail.

REMEMBERING THE PEARL HARBOR ATTACK

The sneak attack by the Japs sunk or seriously damaged our Pacific fleet battleships and took 2,335 American lives

By Howie Katz

Big Jolly Times

December 7, 2020

On this day in 1941, the Japs launched 353 planes from six of their aircraft carriers for a sneak attack on our naval base at Pearl Harbor in Hawaii.  President Franklin D. Roosevelt proclaimed December 7, 1941 a "date which will live in infamy."

The Japs managed to sink or seriously damage our Pacific fleet battleships.  Four battleships were sunk and four were damaged.  Three cruisers and three destroyers were also damaged.  188 of our planes were destroyed and 159 were damaged.  The sneak attack took 2,335 American lives and wounded 1,143 others.

Fortunately, our aircraft carriers were out at sea.  They played a crucial role in defeating Japan which surrendered on August 15, 1945, a week after our atomic bombs destroyed the cities of Hiroshima ans Nagasaki.

The Pearl Harbor attack unleashed a bunch of conspiracy theories.  Some claimed Roosevelt knew in advance that the attack was coming but kept it a secret because he wanted to get us into a war against the Nazis.  Others claimed Churchill knew about the attack in advance and kept it secret so it would draw the US into the war against the Nazis

I remember exactly where I was when it was announced that Pearl Harbor had been attacked.  I was in a movie theater in my hometown of Marshall, Texas.  I don't remember what movie was playing, but in the middle of the movie the screen went blank and the theater lights went on.  The manager jumped on the stage and told us that the Japs had attacked Pearl Harbor and that we were now at war with Japan.

After the shock wore off, many in the theater laughed at the thought of fighting the little bucktoothed, slant eyed Japs.  "We'll beat the shit out of them in three or four month" was heard throughout the theater.  I'm sure many of those in the audience were either killed or wounded in the war because in that day and time, most able bodied men in Marshal volunteered to serve in our armed forces.  I up and joined the army on my 17th birthday.

I know that the term 'Jap' is considered racist, but I'm not about to apologize about calling those little bucktoothed, slant eyed bastards Japs.

WHEN WILL TRUMP REALIZE THAT CONSPIRACY THEORIES AND CRACKPOT LAWYERS CANNOT SAVE HIS PRESIDENCY?

The President continues to cling to conspiracy theories of massive voter fraud and claims he actually won the election by a landslide

By Howie Katz

Big Jolly Times

December 5, 2020

It is awfully sad to see a great president turn into a delusional lunatic.  President Trump kept almost all of his campaign promises.  He really made America great again after Barack Obama had undermined our immigration laws, attempted to erase our national borders and appeased our foreign enemies.

Trump rescinded Obama’s business stifling regulations. His policies resulted in one of the most robust economy this nation has ever experienced. Trump withdrew from the Paris Accords, the climate change agreement that would have seriously damaged our economy.  He withdrew from Obama’s disastrous Iran nuclear deal which allowed the Islamic state to acquire nuclear weapons down the road.  Whereas Obama rewarded Iran by releasing $400 million of Iranian funds that had been frozen in US banks, Trump imposed tough sanctions on the Ayatollah led regime.  And unlike Obama, Trump did not appease foreign leaders who had an axe to grind with the US.

Then along came COVID-19 which destroyed Trump's robust economy and cost millions of Americans their jobs.  Trump handled the pandemic rather poorly.  Instead of following the recommendations of scientists, he openly repudiated them.  Instead of encouraging people to wear masks and practice social distancing, he flaunted those practices.  If it had not been for the pandemic, Trump would likely have been reelected.

Trump would have had a great legacy had he accepted the outcome of the election.  But instead of recognizing him for his many accomplishments, historians will describe him as a president who turned into a delusional lunatic.

QAnon and InfoWars along with other conspiracy theory websites have filled the internet with false claims of massive voter fraud.  Trump swallows and regurgitates these theories.  He insists the election was stolen from him and that he actually won by a landslide.

Because of the election,Trump has become irrational, releasing a barrage of daily overnight tweets in which he lashes out at anyone or anything that displeases him.  He has been especially angry at Republican governors and state officials for not challenging the election outcomes in their states.

Trump's lawyers and some Republican lawmakers filed 46  lawsuits in an attempt to overturn the election.  Most of those lawsuits were based on affidavits sworn to by "witnesses" who claim to have observed voter fraud.  The affidavits were not backed up by any credible evidence.  Almost all of the lawsuits have been dismissed by the courts for lack of evidence.

Most of the reputable lawyers who initially represented Trump have withdrawn from representing the President.  That has left Trump with a bunch of crackpot attorneys.

Rudy Giuliani used to be highly respected.  Lately, as the leader of Trump's legal team, he has held some bizarre press conferences.  And he showed a video which he called a "bombshell" to a Georgia legislative committee in an attempt to overturn that state's election outcome.  Giuliani claimed the video proved the election in Georgia to be a fraud.  That bombshell turned out to be a dud.  Georgia's Republican secretary of state said he had already investigated  the 'bombshell' video and that it shows nothing out of the ordinary.

Trump lawyer Joe diGenova really lost it by declaring that fired cybersecurity chief Chris Krebs "should be drawn and quartered; taken out at dawn and shot" for saying the election was the "most secure in United States history."

Then there is Sidney Powell, a real crackpot.  Powell is a follower of QAnon and has repeated many of its wild conspiracy theories.  She was part of Giuliani's legal team until she declared the election was rigged by a cabal consisting of George Soros, the Clinton Foundation, Antifa, “communistic” actors in Venezuela (including late Hugo Chávez), Cuba, China and thousands of election officials from both parties.  Even Giuliani couldn't stomach that and removed her from the team.

But Powell continues her efforts to overturn the election, declaring she will "unleash the Kraken."  Powell clams the Dominion Voting Systems machines were programmed to flip votes from Trump to Biden.  She unleashed the Kraken in lawsuits filed in Georgia and Michigan.  But her Georgia filing states Dominion Voting Systems machines took 2.5 per cent of the state's votes "from Mr. Biden and flipped them to Mr. Trump for a more than 5 per cent fraudulent vote in crease."  Apparently, the Kraken must have betrayed Powell.

On the other hand, Attorney General Bill Barr has told the Associate Press there is not enough evidence of voting fraud to change Biden's election win.  Trump called the report fake news, but Barr has neither denied making that statement nor claimed he was misquoted.

And Kellyanne Conway, one of Trump's most ardent supporters, acknowledged on Friday that Biden won the election.  Conway who clashed with her Trump-hating husband and daughter, said "If you look at the vote totals in the Electoral College tally, it looks like Joe Biden and Kamala Harris will prevail. I assume the electors will certify that and it will be official. We, as a nation, will move forward, because we always do."  Conway also pledged to work with the Biden team, saying "If there's anything I can ever do to help, they can count on me."

So when will Trump realize that conspiracy theories and crackpot lawyers cannot save his presidency?

The decent thing for Trump to do is to concede the election, invite Joe and Jill Biden to the White House, and attend Biden's inauguration ceremony.

ET TU, BARR? ..... WILL TRUMP NOW FIRE HIS AG?

Bill Barr has not denied or claimed he was misquoted saying there is not enough evidence of voting fraud to change Biden's election win

By Howie Katz

Despite Trump calling the report fake news and reports that DOJ continues to investigate election fraud, Bill Barr has not denied or claimed he was misquoted saying there is not enough evidence of voting fraud to change Biden's election win.

There is nothing unusual for DOJ to continue investigating voter fraud even though what the boss has said.  The DOJ is responsible for investigating allegations of government corruption and voter fraud as they come in.  But as with all the prior affidavits of fraud, DOJ will probably not find any hard evidence to support those claims.

While Trump swallows and regurgitates false conspiracy theories, he calls any reports he does not like "fake news."  And so it is with Barr's statement.

All along, Bill Barr has been one of Trump's staunchest supporters.  But Trump has a habit of lashing out at anyone who displeases him.  The question now is, will Trump fire his AG?

THIS MONTH THE WORLD HAS BEEN WATCHING TRUMP TURN INTO A DELUSIONAL LUNATIC

The President not only lost the election, but he has also lost his mind

By Howie Katz

Big Jolly Times

November 30, 2020

It is really sad to see a President who accomplished much good turn into a delusional lunatic.  Columnist Piers Morgan says "As someone who likes him personally and sees many qualities in him that his enemies refuse to admit exist, it's increasingly sad and pathetic to watch."

Ever since November 3, Trump has let loose a barrage of tweets in which he referred to conspiracy theories that claimed the election was stolen from him.

On Sunday, during an interview with Fox News' Maria Bartiromo, the President really went off the rails.  Trump accused the FBI and the Department of Justice of "maybe" being involved in a "total" voter fraud.  Trump also claimed that "most Democrats" believe Biden won because of "election fraud"

The FBI and DOJ helped rig the election in favor of Biden?  Most Democrats believe Biden won because of voter fraud?  That's simply batshit crazy.

Trump now claims he actually won the election by a landslide.

Was there voter fraud in the election?  Of course there was.  There is voter fraud in every election.  But was the voter fraud so massive that it stole the election from Trump?  There simply is no evidence of that.

Some 30 lawsuits have been filed in state and federal courts seeking to have the election results overturned.  Almost all of them have been dismissed for lack of evidence.  In one suit, Justice David Wechtof the Pennsylvania Supreme Court wrote, "They have failed to allege that even a single mail-in ballot was fraudulently cast or counted."  And in another suit, Federal Appeals Court Judge Stephanos Bibas wrote, "Calling an election unfair does not make it so. Charges require specific allegations and then proof. We have neither here."

Christopher Krebs was director of DHS' Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency before Trump fired him for failing to back the President's stolen election claims.  Krebs says "We can go on and on with all the farcical claims that-- alleging-- interference in the 2020 election, but the proof is in the ballots. The recounts are consistent with the initial count, and to me, that's further evidence, that's confirmation that the systems used in the 2020 election performed as expected, and the American people should have 100% confidence in their vote."

Trump and those who believe his conspiracy theories about election fraud, badly need a dose of reality.  On December 14 the electoral college will declare Biden the winner of the presidential election.  And on January 20 their worst nightmare, including mine, will come true with the inauguration of Biden as President and as Vice President the woman who is only a heartbeat away from the presidency.

And instead of Trump being recognized as the president who made America great again, historians will describe him as a man who became a lunatic during the last weeks of his presidency.
