Various leaks from the Trump administration on Friday revealed that the Trump administration is preparing to revive the Alien and Sedition Acts, suspended Habeas Corpus and jail various members of the Democrat party and anti-Trump media figures without trial or even without being charged.
There is,however, one problem with this story. It is complete bullshit. I just made it up. Ain't never going to happen. That being said, it is not impossible that his headline will be picked up by some net-surfing news service and it might make its way into the news stream.
I don't like Hillary Clinton. I don't trust Hillary Clinton. I don't respect Hillary Clinton. It is therefore easy for me to believe bad stuff about her. However, when the "news" story hit the wires that she had been running a child prostitution ring out of a D. C. pizza parlor I didn't believe it. It was ludicrous.
So why did much of the mainstream media jump with both feet into the idiocy that Trump was preparing to utilize 100,000 National Guard troops to round-up and deport illegal aliens? Simple. They WANTED TO. They hate Trump. They hate people who like Trump. They hate people who even concede that Trump is human. So, they bought the bullshit.
Critical thinking is clearly a lost art, even for those who should know better.
