Israel Today reports that on Tuesday five elderly Jewish women were out for a morning stroll on a southern Jerusalem promenade when suddenly they were set upon by at least two knife wielding Palestinians. Two of the women, both over the age of 80, were stabbed repeatedly in the upper body. They were rushed to a hospital and are expected to recover.
The heroic Palestinian freedom fighters fled in the direction of the nearby Arab village of Jabel Mukaber. Israeli police announced they had captured two suspects and were looking for additional participants in the stabbings.
Palestinians who have attacked Jewish civilians and been been killed or captured by Israeli forces are always celebrated as heroes by President Mahmoud Abbas, the Palestine Liberation Authority and Hamas. The Palestinian government subsidizes the families of those terrorists.
It must take a great deal of courage to attack a group of defenseless old women when you are armed only with knives.
