Trump NEVER described the neo-Nazis as "very fine people," but the media knowingly lied by trumpeting that he said so
Joe Biden said he entered the race for president because Trump referred to neo-Nazis as "very fine people." He has repeatedly condemned Trump on the campaign trail for saying that about the neo-Nazis and white supremacists.
On Thursday at the Iowa State Fair, Biden was confronted by a Breitbart News reporter about the Charlottesville lie. Biden insisted Trump had called the neo-Nazis very fine people, saying:
“Charlottesville — that hate and that venom that we saw, and then the president saying, when asked about the groups … as well as the young woman, when she was killed, he said there were very fine people in both groups. Very fine people. No president, sitting president has ever said something like that. And the only thing that’s happened is it’s gotten worse.”
Thus, Biden continues to use a damn lie as the linchpin of his campaign.
