The vidoe of this has made the rounds of national TV news. A woman was approaching the front door of her condo in SF at night and she was attacked by a homeless psycho. The guard at the desk in the lobby (unarmed female) attempted to assist her. She did manage to distract the guy somewhat but he was able to prevent her from physically interacting to any great degree. She did eventually manage to get the door open and the woman scampered inside.
The bum was arrested. He was ordered released by a judge, with an order to stay at least 100 yards away from that building.
I am fully confident that will protect his victim and others in the building. (Typed with massive insincerity.)
