This two bedroom is in St. Osyth, Essex. It is visually "interesting", looks kind of like one slightly larger building put on top of a slightly smaller one. It is a tad old and may need some work. It is about 400 years old. It is also very, very haunted.
It was a prison until slightly over 100 years ago. It house male prisoners, female prisoners, minors and witches during the witch trials in the early 17th century. One prior owner committed suicide in the home. Two bodies have been found buried on the property. The bones were pierced with iron nails, common after the execution of witches to keep their spirits anchored in the ground.
The current owner moved out in 2008 after being physically attacked by various malevolent spirits in the home. Therefore she might be motivated to dicker a bit. Asking price is a paltry $305,000.
