There is a pretty good chance that, by the time you read this, about half of NOLA will be under several feet of water....again.
A combination of flooding not seen in 70 years and a hurricane, albeit a modest hurricane, pounding in at the same time is almost certain to overcome the levee system. I would think that, after a while, people would get tired of moving their furniture into their second flood and eventually escaping from their roof in a swamp boat.
Add to it the fact that the city is the most corrupt, incompetently run decent size city in the country makes a sane person wonder what the attraction is.
