Eric Swalwell, one of the 793 people running for the Democrap nomination for president, climbed out of the flaming dumpster and walked away yesterday, on his way out quoting either Louis L'amour or Johnny Cash, I'm not quite sure which.
Less than two weeks ago he told Joe Biden it was time for Joe to pass the torch. I suspect he didn't mean somebody should shove that torch up Eric's ass, but he just sort of flamed out, like a candle in the wind, or a coach lantern nailed by a horse fart.
Well, I guess I have pretty well beaten that metaphor to death. Like Swalwell's candidacy.
