‘THE GREAT ACCUSER’ IS ACCUSING CATHOLIC BISHOPS OF COMPLICITY IN THE SEXUAL ABUSE SCANDAL

Pope Francis now says the Devil is behind the revelations against the bishops

Pope Francis has been accused of covering up the sexual abuse committed by some of the church’s hierarchy. Francis has now said something besides “pray for us” and calling for silence about the accusations against the bishops.

During Tuesday morning’s mass at the Vatican, Francis told the assembled crowd that ‘The Great Accuser’ (the Devil) was behind the accusations against Cardinal Theodore McCarrick and other bishops.

Francis accused the Great Accuser of having it in for the bishops. He said:

In these times, it seems like the Great Accuser has been unchained and is attacking bishops. True, we are all sinners, we bishops. He tries to uncover the sins, so they are visible in order to scandalize the people. The Great Accuser, as he himself says to God in the first chapter of the Book of Job, “roams the earth looking for someone to accuse.”

Ah ha, the Devil made Archbishop Carlo Maria Vigano accuse the Pope of a coverup.

By blaming the Devil, Francis hopes we’ll forget all about the sexual abuse and the church’s coverup. This is the leader of the Catholic Church? Pope Francis might as well have put the blame on Bush.
