Well, the only real semi-surprise yesterday was Tulsi Gabbard playing both ends against the middle by voting PRESENT. Then along comes Nasty Nancy Pelosi, who was hinting broadly that she may just back-pocket the whole thing and NOT send the Bill of Impeachment to the senate in the near future, or maybe not at all.
I confess I fail to see what, if anything, that ploy would gain her. She can't hold it over Trump and threaten to drop it on him. He doesn't give a fuck. Well she try to time it around something else significant? Maybe. Perhaps she is just trying to leave a hole in the schedule for the Democrat senators who are running for President to work their scheduling into.
Who knows what psychopaths will do, or why they will do it. Right now the smart money is saying the Republican controlled senate will shoot this thing right between the eyes when it lands in their lap. That might be bullshit too, but stranger things have happened.
