Lester Smith, a Houston oilman and philanthropist, died Thursday at age 76.
Smith and his wife gave more than $150 million to various charities. To me, the most notable contribution was the $15 million he donated to Houston’s Holocaust Museum last June to help with the museum’s expansion work.
A life well lived. Rest in peace, you most kindhearted Christian.
