‘ONE OF OUR ATTORNEYS IS A JEW’ SOUNDS THE SAME AS ‘ONE OF MY FRIENDS IS A JEW’

Roy Moore’s wife defends her husband against accusations he is anti-Semitic

In addition to accusations that Roy Moore molested underage girls, some Jewish leaders have accused him of being anti-Semitic.

At a campaign rally Monday night, Moore's wife Kayla defended her husband against that accusation. Motioning to a group of reporters, she blamed ‘fake news’ for the anti-Semitic charge and said:

“I tell you all this because I see you all and I want to set the record straight while they're here. One of our attorneys is a Jew. We have very close friends that are Jewish, and rabbis, and we also fellowship with them.”

Personally I do not believe Moore is anti-Semitic. I wish that Mrs. Moore had left out “One of our attorneys is a Jew.” That sounds the same as “One of my friends is a Jew,” a phrase often used by anti-Semites trying to convince someone they do not hate Jews.

All this shit came about when Moore attacked George Soros for donating money to his opponent Doug Jones. He said Soros, like “people who don’t recognize God [Jesus},” is going to hell. Because Soros is Jewish, albeit an anti-Israel one, some liberal Jewish leaders immediately got their mental exercise by jumping to the conclusion that Moore is anti-Semitic … and the media ate that up.

I’ve personally run into anti-Semites who’ve told me they have a friend who is a Jew. I might have believed them had they shouted at me, “That’s a fucking bunch of crap!”

I have mixed feelings about the election of Roy Moore. On the one hand there is Doug Jones who will be an obstructionist Democrat if elected and who could jeopardize the Republican agenda. On the other there is Moore who will support the Republican agenda, but who probably molested a 14-year old girl when he was 32.

But all that is academic now. Even Alabama Republicans could not stomach an alleged pedophile. Jones defeated Moore by 50 to 48 per cent of the vote. The margin was just under 21,000 votes out of 1.3 million cast. Although Moore wants a recount, the numbers are likely to stand and Trump will now have an even harder time getting his agenda passed.
