Mayor and City council vote to turn Austin into a disease ridden shithole

Most people have read where Los Angeles is having an infestation of vermin due to the skid row homeless problem. It has become so bad that police officers have been diagnosed with the typhoid fever. Makeshift cardboard and tarp homes litter the sidewalks and rats have been multiplying and entering the businesses. The downtown police department has had to buy a machine to disinfect the building from disease.
Most sane people would read this and say, "We wouldn't let something like that happen to our city."
Instead, the political liberals on the Austin, Texas city council along with Mayor Steve Adler have decided to allow the homeless to camp almost anywhere in the city. One of the few exceptions to the homeless encampments are city hall grounds.
Holy Guacamole! Just not at City Hall.
The Mayor and city council made sure that where they have to walk remains free of feces and disease and the rest of the city can Go to Hell! Austin's Police Chief, Brian Manley seems pretty mellow about it saying, businesses can expect to see a spike in loitering. Assistant Police Chief, Justin Newsom states the ordinance allows homeless people to build shelters on sidewalks as long as people have enough room to squeeze by them and there is no health or safety risk.
Not so fast, Partner!
Not everyone is happy about the new homeless ordinance that went into effect on Monday. Governor Gregg Abbott is threatening to override the ordinance with a new state law. “If Austin— or any other Texas city—permits camping on city streets it will be yet another local ordinance the State of Texas will override,” he tweeted. “At some point cities must start putting public safety & common sense first. There are far better solutions for the homeless & citizens.”
Mayor Adler countered by saying the city remains laser focused on health and safety risks. Then added that not every homeless person poses a safety risk and should not be arrested or treated as if they are dangerous.
So folks, There you have it. Austin, Texas has been Californicated. I'm interested to see if any homeless people wind up on the sidewalk in front of the Mayor Adler's home or at the State Capital.
The people and business owners have to walk down those city streets. This could cost Mayor Adler his job. Would you vote for Mayor Adler if you were having to wipe sidewalk shit off your shoe in Austin?
That's the way I see it.
EDITOR’S NOTE: Austin has long been the Berkeley of Texas. The UT students should not be upset about getting shit on their shoes since they are fed a daily dose of multicultural shit by their Marxist and fellow traveling professors.
Gov. Abbott is whistling Dixie. The legislature won't meet again until 2021 and he's not going to call a special session just so people don't have to wipe shit off of their shoes.
Would I vote for Adler? Of course not, but then I’m not an Austinian.
