There goes Becky with the bad attitude.
Tomi Lahren insulted Beyoncé hours after the singer presented Colin Kaepernick with Sports Illustrated’s Muhammed Ali Legacy Award at the Barclays Center on Tuesday night.
“Police-hating Beyoncé presents police and America-hating Kappy with a 'legacy' award. This is how far we’ve fallen. Wow,” Lahren tweeted.
The Fox News contributor, who has made a career of courting controversy, has repeatedly railed against both Beyoncé and Kaepernick.
Lahren repeatedly slammed Kaepernick as “disrespectful” when the former San Francisco 49er decided to take a knee during the national anthem before games to protest police brutality.
Kaepernick, who opted out of his contract with the 49ers only to remain unsigned, has become a formidable activist as his future with the NFL looks increasingly unlikely.
“With or without the NFL’s platform, I will continue to work for the people, because my platform is the people,” he said during his acceptance speech Tuesday night.
Lahren has also sparked the ire of Beyoncé’s fanbase with her repeated attacks on the singer’s Super Bowl halftime show in 2016, which she called a “way to politicize and advance the notion that black lives matter more."
Lahren has also attacked the “Formation" singer for everything from her stance on climate change to her husband Jay Z, who included a clip of the 25-year-old’s rant in one of his tracks with Pusha T.
EDITOR’S NOTE: We have really fallen far when Sports Illustrated gives Kaepernick any kind of award. And who is more befitting than Black Panther loving, cop hating Beyonce to make the presentation?
