ON THIS DAY IN HISTORY

In 1630 the town of Trimountaine, in the colony of Massachusetts, was renamed Boston.

In 1876 the infamously screwed-up Northfield, Minnesota bank raid took place, after a fashion.

In 1888 the first recorded use of an incubator to assist a newborn premature baby occurred.
