The local constabulary here in Stockton stopped a guy yesterday walking around with a live home-made hand grenade in his pocket.
A local citizen called the cops on a suspicious loiterer and when they rolled up they recognized Rolontae Ivory, 18, and knew he was on searchable probation. When they asked him if he had any weapons or dangerous objects on him he said NO. Turns out he lied. Big surprise. They arrested him for the destructive device as well as some weed and other drug paraphernalia. They called out the bomb squad and blew the grenade up there in the middle of the street.
Too bad they didn't blow it up in his pocket, might have cut down on future crime, or at least made a dent in the shallow end of the gene pool.
