GOD KILLS 13 AT RELIGIOUS FESTIVAL IN PORTUGAL

by Bob Walsh

A massive tree fell into a crowd of attendees at a religious festival on the Portuguese Island of Madeira on Tuesday, killing 13.

The 200 year old Oak tree gave up the ghost during the Nossa Senhora do Monte festival, the biggest such shindig on the island. Seven people received substantial injuries. An investigation into the matter is under way.

Personally I thought that tree collapses were customarily viewed as being acts of God, unless some sort of deliberate sabotage was involved.
