A few days ago a shopper at a grocery store in or near Santee, San Diego County, decided to wear a KKK hood as a mask while shopping at Von's. On Thursday another man showed up to grocery shop at a Von's grocery store in the same general area wearing a more traditional mask with a swastika emblazoned on it.
The swastika was an attachment to a more common medical mask. The local constabulary showed up and asked him politely to ditch the swastika. The shopper complied.
I feel I should point out that the swastika has been around for 2,000 years or more and was a common art and religious symbol in India and with some south-western native American tribes well before the Nazi's showed up.
EDITOR'S NOTE: True Bob, but just like the Confederate flaf has become a symbol of slavery and Jim Crow laws, the swastica has become a symbol of Nazism.
