It is getting scant notice due to other disasters in the news but the largest wildfire in L.A. County history started up on Saturday and is going strong. As of Sunday it had consumed about eight square miles of real estate and was forcing evacuations in Glendale and Burbank as well.
I do have one good friend that still lives in the city of Los Angeles so I would hope that the whole place does not burn down. Other than that.......
The city and county fire departments believe they will have the thing under control soon. Probably just in time for the NorKs to drop an H-bomb on it.
