True believers are just that. They fight their cause to the end. Bernie is a true believer, and he knows this is his last hurrah. He gave a very nice speech yesterday. He stated his position. He even gave Senile Joe the Hairsniffer a heads up on what he is going to hit him with at the no-audience debate this coming Sunday.
Bernie claims (probably truthfully) that a buttload of people have told him they support his positions, but are supporting Joe because they believe Joe is more electable.
One thing that may severely hurt Bernie in the upcoming primaries is the fact that a lot of schools are closing down. How many hard-core Bernie Bros are students who will not bother to vote once they are home? My guess is a lot. Many of them will be too stoned to focus.
Bernie is not a lost cause. Senile Joe could still stroke out, leaving Bernie as the last geezer standing. It is far from impossible.
