The first female mayor of the city of Rabbit Hash, Kentucky, has passed away on September 10. She was mayor from 2008-2016. At that time the mayor stepped down to spend all her time as a fundraiser for local charities. The mayor, Lou Lou, was a collie, and was 12 years old when she passed. She was the third canine mayor of the city, and the first female.
