Fraudsters like actress Felicity Huffman had their kids fake learning disabilities so they could take the college entrance exam at home. They provided a doctor’s certification as proof of the disability.
The kids were allowed to take their ACT or SAT tests at home under the supervision of a proctor. Bribed proctors would give test takers the answers or correct the tests. Or persons posing as the son or daughter would take the exam for them.
According to the Daily Mail, Huffman paid a $15,000 'charitable contribution' to have a Procter correct her daughter's SAT exam, giving her a 400 point boost from her past PSAT score.
