Yolo County has just passed an ordinance that makes it illegal to smoke on any county controlled property, including side walks, parking lots and public parks. It is also illegal to smoke in most of West Sacramento and on property controlled by the University of California, Davis.
The way things are going the only place smokers will be able to smoke (tobacco at least) is in a detached single family home.
I am not a smoker, have never been a smoker (of cigarettes at least). That being said I do NOT buy into the hysterical screaming about the dangers of second-hand smoke. I don't LIKE it but I am doubtful that it will kill me.
EDITOR'S NOTE: Do those bans also apply to pot?
