CALIFORNIA SUPREMES KICK JERRY IN THE CROTCH

by Bob Walsh

Outgoing governor of the formerly great state of California, Jerry Brown, got a very unusual kick to the nut sack from the California Supreme Court.

The court has blocked Jerry's attempt to pardon a 37-year old Cambodian refugee who murdered a woman when he was 14 years old here in beautiful downtown Stockton. The court has given no reason for it's action other than to note that it only has the authority to block a pardon, which is after all an executive action and is virtually never subject to court review, in the case of an "abuse of power."

Jerry's action, had it worked, would have prevented immigration from throwing Borey Ai out of the country. He is one of seven people that Moonbeam has pardoned this year strictly in order to prevent them from being deported. It takes at least four votes of the Supremes to block a pardon. The decision was unsigned, there is no way to know who or how many voted which way. Under the law the Governor is required to get permission from the Supreme Court to pardon or commute the sentence of twice-convicted felons.

The last time this was done was 1930.

Ai was charged as an adult and sentenced to 25-life He had been convicted of two murders as parts of robberies. He paroled in 2016 and was gaffled up by ICE who tried to send his happy ass to Cambodia. They refused to take him.

Just what we need in this country, more multiple murderers.
