Herbert Hoover’s alleged 1928 presidential campaign promise; what will Oprah promise if she runs for president in 2020

When Herbert Hoover ran for president in 1928, he was alleged to have promised “A chicken in every pot and a car in every garage.” However, there is no record of Hoover ever actually having made that promise. It was the Republican Party, not Hoover, which used that phrase as a campaign slogan.
The ‘chicken in every pot’ phrase is attributed to King Henry IV of France who ruled in the 1500s and reportedly once said:
“Si Dieu me prête vie, je ferai qu'il n'y aura point de laboureur en mon royaume qui n'ait les moyens d'avoir le dimanche une poule dans son pot!”
(If God keeps me, I will make sure that no peasant in my realm will lack the means to have a chicken in the pot on Sunday!)
Right now liberals are salivating all over themselves touting Oprah Winfrey for president in 2020. And polls, for what they’re worth, show Oprah whipping Trump Handily.
If Oprah does run in 2020, will this be her campaign slogan? “A Weight Watchers Meal In Every Pot And A New Car For Every Voter.”
