Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich holds a press conference with mayors
of West Bank settlements, at the Finance Ministry in Jerusalem on
September 3, 2025.
Israeli Finance Minister
Bezalel Smotrich wants Israel to annex 82% of the West Bank. His plan
would leave the Palestinians with six enclaves that are well separated
from each other. This would ensure that the Palestinians cannot repeat
the atrocities committed by Hamas during its October 7, 2023 attack on
Israel and its civilians.
Here is a map detailing Smotrich's plan:

I believe the plan is a good one and that Israel should go ahead and annex the West Bank accordingly.
The
whole world, with the exception of the US and a handful of other
nations, will condemn the Jewish state and the Abraham Accords may
crumble. But there will be no Palestinian state for French President
Macron and British Prime minister Starmer to recognize.
As I've said before, Smotrich is a bright light in the darkness.
