MANSON FOLLOWER RECOMMENDED FOR PAROLE

by Bob Walsh

Bobby Beausoleil, now 71, was one of Charlie Manson's road dogs. I knew the guy at DVI. When I worked in J-wing he lived up on J-3 East and had a fucking piano in his cell. Really.

Beausoleil was convicted in the three-day torture and murder of Gary Hinman. He did not have any level of participation in the notorious Tate-La Bianca murders. This is Beausoleil's 19th time around the block with the parole board. He has been turned down the previous 18 times. He was originally sentenced to die for the Hinman murder but his sentence was reduced to life by an appeals court.

He has been a guest of the people for 50 years. It is unknown whether or not the about-to-be governor Gavin Newsom will allow the parole to go thru.
