A white Arkansas police officer has been fired after video circulated of him telling a group of black men that they 'don't belong in my city'.

England Police Chief Danna Powell said that Michael Moore was let go from the department after footage of the encounter surfaced, KATV reported.

Demarcus Bunch filmed the altercation with Officer Moore while shooting a music video in his hometown on July 21.

Bunch claims that as soon as he and cousin, Shannon Scribner, entered the town, the officer began closely following them, WFMY reports.

He says that Moore stopped and watched his crew film until they moved to their next location.

'I was wondering, 'Why is he doing this,'' Bunch said. 'We're in small England. Everybody knows everybody.'

When the officer popped up at the crew's next filming location, Bunch and his cousin decided to ease the tension and go inform the cop of who they were.

'We are Dale Scribner's nephews,' Bunch is heard stating in the video, later explaining that his uncle is an officer with the England police force.

Moore dismisses the familiar name and when pressed about why he was following the group, he gives a very clear reasoning.

He states: 'You know why? Because you don't belong in my city.'

Bunch explains that he is from the area, but Moore does not care.

Moore retorts: 'But you understand, I know who my people are, right, who belongs here and who doesn't? We've got gang wars going on, we've got all kinds of stuff. I come from the big city where this stuff is small, okay? So, that's cool. Do your thing.'

The exchange continues, before Moore threatens to take his dog out if the men don't step away from his car.

Moore is said to have stayed in the area for three more minutes, bringing his dog out the vehicle before putting it back in.

After talking to another uncle, Bunch and his cousin reached out to another uncle who advised them to talk to Chief Danna Powell.

'We wanted to give the chief the opportunity to perform her investigation,' Scribner said. 'So we held the video close to our chest and waited for her to provide a response.'

On Tuesday, Bunch released the video and claimed to not have heard anything from the police department.

It has garnered intense criticism from the community, many of which felt like the firing definitely needed to take place.

'The guy that he was harassing, I know the fella,' said Pastor David Drayer of Word of Faith Christian Church. 'He grew up here all his life. And he's saying this is my town and get out of my city. It's not his city, you know. He come in already, you know, with the wrong kind of attitude. Because where there is unity there is strength, and that is the last thing we need.'
