Houston, we have a problem.
The narcotics evidence room on the 25th floor of police headquarters holds among other drugs, according to Mayor Whitmire, 400,000 pounds of marijuana, and rats are getting fat and high eating it.
The rats are also getting into other narcotics thereby possibly compromising some active cases.

ABC News Senior Political Correspondent Rachel Scott “You are the most obnoxious reporter in the whole place,. Let me just tell you, you are an obnoxious—actually, a terrible reporter. And it’s always the same thing with you. I told you, whatever Pete Hegseth wants to do, is OK with me.”
That's how President Trump responded to respected ABC News Senior Political Correspondent Rachel Scott on Monday when she pressed him about his previous statement that he had no problem with the release of the second strike video.
Trump did say that on December 3 as recorded on TV, but has backtracked since, calling the ABC News reporting fake news.
That's what Trump does best, venomous personal attacks against people who disagree with him or put him on the spot like Rachel Scott did. And that's what assholes do.
This is just the latest example of Trump's deranged rants against people. Trump even called his most loyal and strident supporter Marjorie Taylor Greene a "ranting lunatic" when she dared to disagree with some of his policies. MTG is well known for some of her lunatic rants, but Trump must have been looking in the mirror when he called her that.
I am still very glad that the disgraceful idiot Kamala Harris is not our president and that we have the Asshole in Chief instead.

The masked burglar broke into the closed Virginia liquor store early on Saturday and hit the bottom shelf, where the scotch and whisky were stored.
The bandit was something of a nocturnal menace: bottles were smashed, a ceiling tile collapsed and alcohol pooled on the floor.
The suspect acted like an animal because, in fact, he's a raccoon.
On Saturday morning, an employee at the Ashland, Virginia, liquor store found the small animal passed out on the bathroom floor at the end of his drunken escapade.
Photos taken of the furry creature showed it lying on its front between a toilet and a bin, with its limbs splayed out.
'I personally like raccoons,' said Samantha Martin, an officer who works at the local animal control.
'They are funny little critters. He fell through one of the ceiling tiles and went on a full-blown rampage, drinking everything.'
Martin said she took the raccoon back to the animal shelter, though she had her fair share of giggles along the way.

'Another day in the life of an animal control officer, I guess,' she said.
The Hanover County Animal Protection and Shelter commended Martin for handling the break-in, and confirmed the raccoon had sobered up.
'After a few hours of sleep and zero signs of injury (other than maybe a hangover and poor life choices), he was safely released back to the wild, hopefully having learned that breaking and entering is not the answer,' the agency said.

President Trump granted pardons for 77 individuals tied to a plot to overturn the 2020 presidential election — including his close allies Rudy Giuliani, Sidney Powell and Kenneth Chesebro, a Justice Department attorney announced late Sunday.
Chauvin was the victim of a political lynching due to the BLM riots and a media out for his blood. Had Floyd been white, there would have been no protests or media coverage and neither the State of Minnesota nor the federal government would have charged Chauvin with any crime.
A whole bunch of scumbags have been released from prison, not because they served their time or deserved to be pardoned, but solely because they were Trump supporters. Meanwhile Chauvin, who should never have been charged in the death of Floyd, continues to rot in prison because Trump won't pardon him. That is really disgusting.
President Biden was condemned for the pardons he gave, including one for his scumbag son Hunter. But when it comes to sorry pardons, President Trump is far ahead of any other president.
Trump clearly has no shame.

In Tuesday's elections candidates that Trump backed in Virginia and New Jersey lost and a proposition in California passed that will likely give the Democrats control of the House.
Voters in Virginia and New Jersey elected the Democratic candidates for governor. And in Virginia, Jay Jones, who Bob Walsh called a "hate-filled borderline psychopath" for texting that the state's Republican House Speaker "gets two bullets to the head," defeated the Republican candidate for Attorney General.
In California, Gov. Gavin Newsom's congressional redistricting plan was approved by the voters. That will probably give the Democrats control of the House in next year's election. Newsom proposed the redistricting as a response to the redistricting by Gov. Greg Abbott in Texas.
Polls taken of voters showed that the main issue was the economy. Trump's tariff wars have increased the cost of living for Americans.
Trump was clearly the big loser on Tuesday.

Trump has also given his word to the Arab countries that Israel won't annex the West Bank and threatened the Jewish state with the loss of all US support if it tried to do that.
Israel would be better served if the Erdoğan and Qatar-loving head of the snake were to be cut off.

Today is Columbus Day, the day we honor the great and brave explorer, Christopher Columbus.
On August 3, 1492, when Columbus first set out from Spain on a westward route to India, most people believed the earth was flat and that his ships would fall off the edge of the world. But on October 12, 1492, Columbus and his crew landed on an island in the Bahamas that he named San Salvador.

Columbus never mistreated or enslaved any of the indigenous peoples of the Americas. That was done by the Spanish explorers who came after Columbus.
The second Monday of October is officially designated as a federal holiday in honor of Columbus. But many places have eliminated Columbus Day and replaced it with Indigenous Peoples Day.
Christopher Columbus rightfully deserves an honored place in history and shame, shame on those who would deny him that.

So, I just learned that the FCC is going to have to review if prisons have authority to confiscate and ban prisoners contraband cell phones, which are commonly used to manage gangs and other criminal activity in absentia, buy drugs, and order killings outside the walls, among other nefarious activities. Can anyone but me pick out how many things are expressly wrong with the previous statement??
My first question is why does the FCC need to be consulted in the first place? I understand that they rule over all things electronically communicated, but A), the phones in question are on their face 'contraband'; B), they are in the possession of convicted felons; C), they have been illegally smuggled in and handed off to convicted felons; and D), they are being used to engage in ongoing criminal enterprises.
This issue in clearly something that the warden, staff and prison administration should have complete autonomy over and they shouldn't need any entity's review or approval to deal with unilaterally. Should the FCC be consulted when a prisoner is found in possession of a homemade shiv or other deadly weapon? This is absolutely absurd.
The Bible speaks of persons that are of a "reprobate mind." This phrase is found in Romans 1:28 referring to those whom God has rejected as godless and wicked. The Greek word translated "reprobate" in the New Testament is adokimos, which literally means "unapproved, that is, rejected; by implication, worthless (literally or morally).
What I'm trying to say here is that this is the very kind of worthless thinking that has turned rational thought upside down. I suppose someone would say that this is just another example of bureaucracy run amok. I would have to agree with that statement. God help us!

As we remember the horrific attacks of 9/11, we should not lose sight of their significance.
The 9/11 attacks on the twin towers of the World Trade Center and on the Pentagon, and the attempted attack on Congress or the White House that was thwarted by brave airline passengers, were funded and carried out by Islamists in their war on the Western World.
The Islamist war on the Western World is still going on with no end in sight. It is centered in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Pakistan, Afghanistan,Yemen and other Islamic strongholds.
We should forever remember that throughout the Muslim world, people celebrated the news of 9/11.
We must not lose sight of the Islamist war against the West, and that is the significance of 9/11.
