Various media outlets are reporting that the semi-final draft of the Inspector General's report into allegations of diddling with the FISA court is now in the hands of the Attorney General.
I strongly suspect that THIS is the one that Comey is sweating. If the talking heads are to be believed Comey swore, in writing, at least twice that the background for the FISA applications was kosher when he KNEW it was not. This was the predicate for spying on Trump campaign officials.
If it is fraudulent the court would be correct to be righteously pissed and Comey could find himself on the wrong end of serious legal trouble.
Generally speaking what would result from something like this would be sanctions and not prosecution, but since this was used as an entry point to begin an administrative coup against a duly elected president, it is possible the powers that be may take an unusually dim of of his perjury and may push the issue.
EDITOR'S NOTE: Don't hold your breath if you're waiting for Comey to be prosecuted!
