CLUELESS OR COMPLICIT ??

Thursday morning the Pope accepted the resignation of Cardinal Donald Wuerl as head man in D. C. but allowed him to stay in place until a replacement is named. He also wrote a letter stating that Wuerl was emblematic of the future of the church and asserting that the sun rose out of his ass every morning.

So, is the Pope completely clueless or is he complicit in the wholesale coverup of molestation of children, nuns and seminarians by membes of the clergy? Note I did not say he was stupid. I don't think they have elected a stupid Pope in several hundred years. So, what gives?

The Pope was a buddy and supporter of Juan Peron in Argentina. Peron was somewhat known for escapades with VERY YOUNG females.

Is the Pope so frightened that letter the cat all the way out of the bag will lead to destruction of the church? Or is he afraid that his buddies, and maybe himself, will be shown to be A PACK OF FUCKING PERVERTS?

I don't know. I do know that it is very hard to conclude that the Pope is genuinely interested in solving the problem. When asked about it recently he refused to respond to the question at all.

Maybe the church NEEDS to crash and burn and start all over. That might be the only way of getting the stench out of the building.
