Young Troy Goodman was playing with minimal (zero) direct supervision in an art display during a wedding reception at the Tomahawk Ridge Community Center in Overland Park, Kansas, when he decided it would be amusing to push on a statue on a pedestal. The statue fell, mostly on him.
The insurance company just sent the Goodmans a bill for the $132,000. Their take is that the statue was not properly secured and the little vandal is now having nightmares about it. I smell a counter-suit. There is security footage. Perhaps we will see what a jury will say.
