Things are looking hinky as hell in Broward County, Florida. There is some very specific law in Florida about mail-in ballots. They MUST be kept completely intact in their sealed envelopes until the day before the actual election. At that time the election board convenes and compares the signatures on the envelopes against the signature of record on the voter registration.
It seems that local officials have completely ignored the law in Broward County and have opened and begun to count tens of thousands of votes.
The RNC is screaming like a mashed cat and has asserted that, if it does not stop immediately, they will take immediate legal action in federal court to have it stopped. It is unclear what action, if any, would be taken regarding those ballots already counted, apparently in violation of the law.
It just keeps getting better and better.
