If the local medical examiner is to be believed the death of Rebecca Hardy, 22, in Port Huron, MI, on December 3 was a suicide.
The young woman, who had a baby and was engaged to be married, was recently kicked out of her family home and had attempted suicide once before. Never the less her family is not buying into the suicide story and believe she was killed while taking a short-cut through a fenced yard.
The dog that killed here, a pit bull and husky mix, was put down the day of the attack as was one of the dog’s three puppies.
