Yesterday El Presidente Trump pulled the U. S. funding plug on the WHO, pending a review. It seems he believes that they are playing political games that are getting people dead. He is almost certainly right. No reason why we should fund other people's bullshit.
Obama issued a statement today saying that the U. S. should give DACA people an instant pathway to a green card and citizenship because "so many" of them are working on the healthcare front to fight off the Covid-19 bug. And he is right, if you consider the fact that 0.2% of DACA people are involved in the healthcare arena might be considered "many."
Speaking of small numbers, the Economist is now asserting that it looks like it is completely possible that, when all the numbers are checked, the Covid-19 virus will have a mortality rate of 0.1%, pretty much the same as the seasonal flu. The Economist is a very well respected weekly news magazine based in the U.K. They might be wrong, but they are neither crazy nor stupid.
EDITOR'S NOTE: Also, yesterday Barack Obama endorsed Joe 'White Obama' Biden for president.
