The entire world seems to be on the lookout for positive news—Bill Clinton and Monica Lewinski might have just provided it.
The old saying that time heals all wounds may not apply to everyone. However, it seems to apply to Bill and Monica as they met on Wednesday to talk about the past. "It's time that Bill and Monica have closure to a situation that needs closure," Hillary told reporters as she waited outside the hotel room where the two were having a private conversation.
Because of the pandemic, the two put on masks and agreed to stay 6-feet apart during the entire conversation. "I'm not worried that they are in there alone. Bill has learned from his mistakes, and Monica has grown into a mature woman—people need to let the past go," Hillary responded to a reporter who asked if she was upset about the private meeting.
After 55-minutes behind closed doors, the two came out of the room and posed in front of cameras as they laughed and smiled. Although they did not take questions, it was visible that the past was in the past.
NOTE: On a closer look, however, it can be seen that Bill's pants are unzipped and Monica's mask was bent out of shape and had several stains on it.
