Shehada Issa, 65, shotgunned (allegedly) his son Amir, 29, in their home in L.A. He may, or may not, have knifed his wife to death also.
Amir was possibly a pain in the ass. The parents were in the process of evicting him from the family home. It is also possibly they, or at least daddy, just didn’t want him around because he was a homosexual. Unfortunately for daddy, he has priors for threatening to kill his son because his son was gay. That doesn’t look good.
Shehada was arrested this past Tuesday when the cops found Amir dead in the house from shotgun wounds and the wife dead from multiple knife wounds.
Shehada is asserting that he killed his son in self-defense when the young man came at him with a knife. The cops didn’t find a knife. Shehada is apparently presuming that the son stabbed his mother to death. That is still under investigation.
Daddy is facing charges for premeditated murder as a hate crime.
The moral is don’t kill your kid for being gay, at least in L. A. County, and sure as hell don’t broadcast the fact that you plan on doing so. It makes you look stupid in court.
