The two major players in this little drama are Aaron Adams, formerly a Stockton (CA) P. D. officer, and Montecuzoma Sanchez, a “community activist.”
Last year, right at Christmas time, Adams and another officer got in a Facebook pissing contest with Sanchez. In addition, at 1:09 a.m. Officer Adams issued a citation to a car owned by Sanchez for having expired registration tags. At the time the citation was issued the car was parked legally in Sanchez’s driveway with the ass end towards the house, meaning the officer had to walk onto the property between the car and the house to inspect the tags.
It should be noted that there is no legal requirement in California for a car parked on private property to be correctly tagged.
Sanchez made a formal complaint to the P D about the citation. (I don’t blame him, I would have done the same thing.) The cops investigated, and placed Adams on paid administrative leave.
As of April 1, Adams is no longer employed by the Stockton P D.
A word to the wise police officer, stay the hell off of Facebook and all other social media!
EDITOR'S NOTE: I would add that it is the height of stupidity and assholiness for a cop to carry on a vendetta with a private asshole citizen and go out of his way to zing him.
