NEITHER UNRWA, THE INTERNATIONAL COURT OF JUSTICE OR UN CHIEF ANTONIO GUTERRES WON THE NOBEL PEACE PRIZE

Japan’s Nihon Hidankyo group is awarded the 2024 Nobel Peace Prize

UNRWA, The International Court of Justice (ICJ) and UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres were among those nominated to receive the 2024 Nobel Peace Prize. I consider those nominations as some kind of joke.

The prestige of the Nobel prize took a big hit when US President Barack Obama won it in 2009. No one has yet figured out what Obama did to receive the award. Some think it was because he became the first black to be elected president.

Nihon Hidankyo, which is the winner of this year's Nobel Peace Prize, is a Japanese organization of US atomic bombing survivors that strives to abolish nuclear weapons.

The Nobel committee had the good sense not to award the prize to the Israel-hating UNRWA, ICJ and Guterres..

As for Guterres, earlier this month, Israel gave him the award he truly deserves: Persona non grata.
