A JOKE MAY HAVE COST TRUMP PENNSYLVANIA

By Howie Katz

Tony Hinchcliffe

Comedian Tony Hinchcliffe at Donald Trump's campaign rally in Madison Square Garden on October 27, 2024

Tony Hinchcliffe is a comedian few Americans ever heard of. But he was the first speaker before a packed house of 20,000 Trump supporters in the Madison Square Garden rally on October 27, 2024. And here is one of his jokes.

“I don’t know if you guys know this, but there’s literally a floating island of garbage in the middle of the ocean right now. I think it’s called Puerto Rico.”

That infuriated Puerto Ricans, as it well should have. Harris and Barack Obama, as well as Puerto Rican celebrities Jennifer Lopez, Bad Bunny and Ricky Martin, soundly condemned the joke.

But not to worry. The people of Puerto Rico cannot vote in the presidential election. So, that joke can't hurt Trump.

Wrong! Wrong! Wrong!

While those living on the island cannot vote in our elections, the Puerto Ricans living in the U.S. can.

According to the U.S. Census Bureau, more than 470,000 Puerto Ricans live in Pennsylvania, a swing state that Trump absolutely has to win.

Let's say that only half of Pennsylvania's Puerto Ricans are eligible to vote. That amounts to more than 200,00 voters. And if half of those eligible voters cast their ballots for Harris, that may be enough to cost Trump this vital swing state.

And there are 132,000 Puerto Ricans in North Carolina and 124,000 in Georgia. In a race that is a toss-up, those Puerto Ricans could cost Trump the swing states of North Carolina and Georgia as well.

Trump should have soundly apologized to the Puerto Ricans. But Trump never apologizes. Instead, he responded to the condemnations by calling his MSG rally a lovefest”.

Personally, I saw absolutely nothing funny in Hinchcliffe's joke. And it's not funny either if that joke causes dumbass Harris to become president.

KAMALA HARRIS HAS GOT TO BE THE DUMBEST CANDIDATE EVER FOR PRESIDENT

By Howie Katz

a woman in a black dress is sitting in a chair making a gesture

“I talked with somebody once who said, ‘You know, if you just look at, where the stars are in the sky. Don’t look [at] ’em as just random things, if you just look at ’em as points.’ Look at the constellation — what does it show you?

Kamala Harris has got to be the dumbest candidate ever for president, yet she has a good chance of being elected.

If America's voters cast their ballots intelligently, Harris wouldn't stand a chance. But many voters choose a candidate because he/she was endorsed by a celebrity.

Take Taylor Swift for example. According to a 2023 survey by Morning Consult, in the U.S., 53% of adults said they were fans of Swift, of whom 44% identified as Swifties and 16% as her "avid" fans.

You can bet that those who are avid fans of Taylor Swift will vote for Harris because she endorsed her. And many of the Swifties will vote for Harris for the same reason. That amounts to an enormous number of voters.

Kamala Harris, Queen of Word Salads

Harris spews out word salads to cover up her ignorance when questioned  about issues.

“I talked with somebody once who said, ‘You know, if you just look at, where the stars are in the sky. Don’t look [at] ’em as just random things, if you just look at ’em as points.’ Look at the constellation — what does it show you?,” was her response to a question about crime in black neighborhoods.

How about her answer when asked about Netanyahu's actions that are opposed by President Biden: “The work that we have done has resulted in a number of movements in that region by Israel that were very much prompted by or a result of many things, including our advocacy for what needs to happen in the region.”

And here is another Harris jewel: “You know, when we talk about our children — I know for this group, we all believe that when we talk about the children of the community, they are a children of the community.” Well, at least Kamala knows that children of the community are children of the community.

Of course, Harris is getting lots of help from Trump himself with some of the stupid things he says and from his persistent use of personal insults. Thus, Harris uses Trumps own words against him at every one of her campaign rallies.

As I said, if America's voters cast their ballots intelligently, Harris wouldn't stand a chance. But those voters have proven time and time again that they do not vote intelligently.

If this uber-dumbass does become president, she can thank Taylor Swift, and especially Donald Trump, whose big mouth will have snatched defeat out of the jaws of victory.

I VOTED TODAY

By Howie Katz

Photo of Ted Cruz next to a photo of Donald Trump

Sen. Ted Cruz and former President Trump

I took advantage of early voting and cast my ballot today.

I held my nose as I voted for Trump. My vote was more a vote against Kamala Harris than a vote for Trump.

I also voted for Sen. Ted Cruz. Polls show he is in a tight race with his uber-left Democratic opponent. God, I hope Cruz is reelected.

I voted for the Republican candidates for congress, the state legislature and state-wide offices.

The Texas ballot is what is known as a 'jungle ballot', one with far too many candidates. The overwhelming number of candidates were those seeking election as judges. In Texas judges run either as Democrats or Republicans. I do not vote for judges because I am opposed to partisan elections of judges.

I did vote for one Democrat and that was Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez. He's done a good job and I saw no reason for a change in office just because he happens to be a Democrat.

Unfortunately Harris County is a Democratic stronghold. The only Republicans that will be elected are those that represent Republican districts.

Considering my age, this is probably the last presidential election that I'll have the opportunity to vote in.

Courtney Katz with McKinney Police Chief Joe Ellenburg

Courtney, one of my two granddaughters, was an Arlington, Texas police officer for eight years. She left Arlingto and became a School Resource officer in Palestine, Texas. After a ciuple of years she left and recently became a police officer in McKinney, Texas.

McKinney is a city of over 200,00 about 32 miles north of Dallas.

I wasn't too enthused about her becoming a school resource officer.  I am happy that now she's back doing real police work

In any case, I am very proud that Courtney is a cop.

THE MOUTH THAT KEEPS GIVING ... TO KAMALA HARRIS

By Howie Katz

donald trump is giving a speech in front of a microphone while wearing a suit and tie .

It simply amazes me how Trump can say some of the stupid things he comes up with. It appears that, like Biden, he is at times mentally unstable.

His latest saying is the crown jewel of absurdity. It concerns the January 6 insurrection.

During a Univision town hall on Wednesday, he was asked about the storming of the capitol by his supporters.

Trump responded by saying January 6 was a "day of love" when "nothing" was "done wrong."

A day of love where nothing was done wrong? A mob of hundreds assaulted numerous police officers and broke into the Capitol by breaking windows and doors. This was clearly an insurrection and by no means a day of love.

A magician couldn't make a day of love out of assaulting cops and breaking into the Capitol.

This is just one of many examples of the mouth that keeps giving to Kamala Harris.

As Michael Goodwin wrote in the New York Post: "Day after day, he calls opponents and critics dumb, stupid, lunatics, crazy and idiots." Goodwin says that Trump would be heading toward a landslide if he were not alienating large numbers of people by his use of nasty, childish insults.

All that aside, a half-baked Trump is still a far better choice than an uber-left Kamala.

'WORD SALAD' EXPLAINED

By Howie Katz

CBS News is facing immense backlash after the network edited a 'word salad' answer from Harris in her 60 Minutes interview in order to allegedly portray her more positively

“Well, Bill … the work that we have done has resulted in a number of movements in that region by Israel that were very much prompted by or a result of many things, including our advocacy for what needs to happen in the region.”

Say what?!

That was Kamala's response with long pauses and hesitant wording when CBS 60 Minutes host Bill Whitaker noted that “it seems that Prime Minister Netanyahu is not listening” to the Biden administration.

If you didn't know what is meant by “word salad”, her response explains it.

The Vice President appeared on 60 Minutes on October 7. CBS tried to save Kamala's ass by editing out her wording, wording that language experts would not be able to interpret.

Kamala sounds good when speaking at campaign rallies, but when answering questions during interviews, what one often gets are unintelligible word salads.

TOMORROW IS COLUMBUS DAY .... NOT INDIGENOUS PEOPLES' DAY

By Howie Katz

Christopher Columbus

                                                     Christopher Columbus

Columbus Day honors the courageous explorer who reached the Americas on Oct 12, 1492, a feat no one thought was possible because they believed the world was flat and that his three ships would fall off the edge of the earth.

Columbus Day is a national holiday that is dear to this country's Italian-Americans and should be dear to all Americans.

Liberals in this country have long objected to Columbus Day because they blame him for the mistreatment of the Indians in the US and Latin America, something the explorer had nothing to do with.

The opponents of Columbus Day have come up with the preposterous name of Indigenous Peoples' Day. To liberals the name 'Indians' is a cardinal sin.

The name change of Columbus Day would be laughable if it weren't so sad.

To me, it will always be Columbus Day. And that's the way it should be for all Americans.

NEITHER UNRWA, THE INTERNATIONAL COURT OF JUSTICE OR UN CHIEF ANTONIO GUTERRES WON THE NOBEL PEACE PRIZE

Japan’s Nihon Hidankyo group is awarded the 2024 Nobel Peace Prize

By Howie Katz

The Hiroshima city hall after the bomb

UNRWA, The International Court of Justice (ICJ) and UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres were among those nominated to receive the 2024 Nobel Peace Prize. I consider those nominations as some kind of joke.

The prestige of the Nobel prize took a big hit when US President Barack Obama won it in 2009. No one has yet figured out what Obama did to receive the award. Some think it was because he became the first black to be elected president.

Nihon Hidankyo, which is the winner of this year's Nobel Peace Prize, is a Japanese organization of US atomic bombing survivors that strives to abolish nuclear weapons.

The Nobel committee had the good sense not to award the prize to the Israel-hating UNRWA, ICJ and Guterres..

As for Guterres, earlier this month, Israel gave him the award he truly deserves: Persona non grata.

I HOPE TO GOD I'M WRONG

I am sorry to predict that on January 20, 2025, Kamala Harris will be sworn in as our new president

By Howie Katz

Monday, January 20, 2025

With less than 30 days till the election, I am sorry to predict that on January 20, 2025, Kamala Harris will be sworn in as our new president.

Ther are several reasons for my dire prediction.

Kamala Harris has the crucial women's vote locked up because of the abortion issue.

She can count on the black and Jewish votes.

The leftist-indoctrinated college graduates will vote for Harris.

Harris is flooding the airwaves with feel-good and anti-Trump ads which Trump cannot match because he doesn't have near the campaign funds she has.

The media is protecting Harris while reporting unfavorable stories about Trump.

And Trump, with his bigmouth, is helping to elect Harris. He hasn't stopped relying on conspiracy theories since he suggested people with Covid 19 ingest Lysol or Clorox. His latest outburst was that FEMA is running out of funds because it has spent them on migrant needs. That conspiracy theory started somewhere in the depth of social media.

To make matters worse, Harris will have both houses of congress controlled by Democrats.

If only the Republicans had nominated a better candidate like Nikki Haley, Ron DeSantis, Mike Pompeo or better yet, Texas Gov. Greg Abbott.

America is headed for dark times. I hope to God I'm wrong.

NOTE: As I write this, the Daily Mail reports that Trump is ahead of Harris and increasing his lead.

I hope to God the Daily Mail is not wrong.

TONIGHT'S VP DEBATE

I call it a draw

By Howie Katz

Vice Presidential debate between Walz and Vance in New York

My take away from tonight's VP debate is that Harris supporters

in Hong Kong during the Tiananmen Square protests, he danced around the answer before saying that he was in China the Summer of 1989 and "misspoke."

Vance continuously accused Harris of making policies that President Biden made.

Both men were good in defending their running mates. Walz did score a knockdown of sorts during their discussion of the January 6 insurrection.

At one point Vance got into a real face-to-face debate with Walz, but the moderators quickly stopped them.

As in the Harris-Trump debate, moderators Norah O'Donnell and Margaret Brennan were biased, this time against Vance. When he hit back at them for fact checking him, they cut his mic.

I doubt this debate changed more than a handful of votes.
