President Biden wants Israel to consider the interception of Iranian missiles and drones a win and let it go without a response. He is dead wrong!
While the interception is a win of sorts, it certainly is not the win Israel needs to deter any future attacks by Iran.
Iran attacked Israel with 170 drones, 30 cruise missiles, and 120 ballistic missiles. The US, UK and Jordan assisted Israel in downing many of the Iranian drones and missiles. The US downed some 80 of the drone and six ballistic missiles.
Obama and Biden's appeasement policies enriched and emboldened Iran
Iran was able to attack Israel because of the appeasement policies of Barack Obama and Biden. Both Biden and Obama funneled billions of dollars to Iran which the rogue regime used to fund its proxies Hamas, Hezbollah and the Houthies. And the appeasement policies were seen as a weeknes of the United States.
Biden has informed Israel that the US will not support it in any retaliatory strike against Iran.
Biden's notice notwithstanding, Israel really has no choice but to retaliate for the attack if it wants to deter any future Iranian attacks.
Israel can directly attack Iran or one of its proxies. Hezbollah could be the choice because it has been firing rockets daily at Israel since October 7.
But in my opinion Israel needs to attack Iran itself with the aim of killing supreme leader Ali Khamenei.
